This scene was painted in Bethshalom Holocaust Centre Gardens to commemorate the ending of WW2. I was struck by the luminous purity of the doves caught in the bright sunlight. Delicate, fluid and transparent - watercolour seemed the ideal medium to capture these beautiful birds.
