I was drawn by the utter simplicity and beauty of these white blossoms against a clear blue sky. I really appreciate the characteristics of flowers. I wanted to convey a sense of life in this piece - allowing the shadows and reflected lights of the blooms to create subtle tones and lost-and-found edges.
